Harvard Political Review 2026 Journalism Fellowship

Are you a middle or high school student interested in journalism? Do you want to work one-on-one with experienced Harvard Journalists? Do you want to get published on the Harvard Political Review? If so, join the HPR's one-week bootcamp this summer!

HuffPost College Launches

HuffPost College, a new offshoot of the budding online media empire, launched today. Like the regular HuffPost, it is a strange but fascinating blend of serious news and opinion (“Majoring in Debt,” “Why Historically Black Colleges Remain Relevant”) and scintillating gossip and tabloid fare (“Camo Condoms to Infiltrate College Campuses,” “Cornell Mistakenly Disposes Animal Remains in Sewer System”).
I’m conflicted about the absence of Harvard-related items on the site (well, there’s one about Harvard docs in Haiti). On the one hand, I think the mainstream media’s obsession with all things Harvard is pretty unproductive (see my post this morning). On the other hand, I hope that The HPRgument and other Harvard publications can, on occasion, break through and get some attention.
